Pastor Vacancy Announcement

Mount Zion Second Baptist Church located at 137 Boulevard NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30312 is

seeking a Senior Pastor. Upon the retirement of our Pastor, Dr. Henry Wise Jones, the Pastor

Search Committee along with the Mount Zion Second Baptist Church Family, are prayerful,

intentional, and methodical in our search for a new pastor.

We seek a strong leader who adheres to Godly values in his/her personal and professional life.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate commitment to church growth and development of its members, worship and outreach beyond the church walls.

The application process:

• The application is formatted as a Google Form:

• A Gmail account will be needed to access and complete the application (Google Form)

• The form has 6 sections

• No hard copy applications will be accepted

• Only Google Form submission is acceptable

• No mail-ins

• No emails

• No drop offs

 

Completed Google Forms (applications) will be accepted November 19, 2022 through January

19, 2023.

Final candidates shall consent to a reference check, a full background check including criminal

history, a drug test and a credit check. These checks will be performed by an outside agency for complete confidentiality.
